Google App Engine - REST API 1.1 response is not valid JSON (non-UTF-8 Content-Type)
I'm using GAE version 1.9.7 and GAE rest-framework version 0.12.2, I'm having the following problem:
When I access my API with the POST method, the response is "Bad Request" and the error message says
"Non-UTF-8 Content-Type".
This error is thrown only when I send JSON data that is not valid UTF-8. When I send it as UTF-8, the response is "Ok", but the message says that the API call returned error "Error" and that "reason" is "Entity type isn't one of the allowed types"
I've read lots of topics on the internet, most of them says that I need to add an exception to my request handler, so I added the following code to my API handler:

except UnicodeDecodeError:
raise HttpResponseBadRequest()
